We got tired of watching good

training go ignored.

We learned that lesson in a classroom, and built Incentli to bring it to the brands training partners and customers.

Our Story

It began in a high school physics classroom.

Our founder taught physics, and when lessons moved online, the drop-off was impossible to miss. The students who stayed engaged did brilliantly. The ones who tuned out fell behind fast, and no amount of reminding, requiring, or warning seemed to bring them back. Pressure did not work. What worked was giving them a reason to want to be there.

Years later, that same pattern showed up in the corporate world at a much larger scale. Companies were pouring real effort into training their partners, channels, and customers, building good courses, standing up an LMS, writing the content, and then watching almost nobody show up. Registrations stalled. Courses sat unfinished. The tools had changed, but the problem was the one from the classroom, just with higher stakes.

So we built the fix we wished we had back then: learning that rewards you the way the best loyalty programs do, with a currency you earn, a store you actually want to shop, and the satisfaction of climbing a level or topping a leaderboard. That question became Incentli.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Three ideas sit underneath

everything we build.

Positive beats punitive.

We learned this in a classroom and have seen it hold true ever since: people do more, and remember more, when they are rewarded for showing up than when they are penalized for staying away. Incentivized training reflects how motivation actually works.

Training should drive growth, not sit on the cost line.

Customer and partner education is one of the highest-return investments a company can make. When it is engaging and measured, it stops being an expense to justify and becomes a channel that pays back.

Loyalty mechanics belong in learning.

The same tools that keep customers coming back to a brand – points, rewards, status, friendly competition – work just as well for the people learning about that brand. We brought them into the LMS.

WHO WE ARE

A small team based in British Columbia, Canada.

Instructional designers, gamification specialists, and developers. Small enough that when you work with us, you are talking to the people who actually build and run the product, not a layer of account managers between you and the work.

We treat your program like an extension of our own team, because at our size, that is exactly what it is.
