PROGRAM
Learn & Earn — a customizable virtual coin economy
Goal
Stop mid-program dropout; drive completions, referrals & repeat enrollment
the challenge
Students were starting the VRCE — and stalling before the finish.
IGNITE’s Veterinary Receptionist Certificate of Excellence had a familiar problem: learners enrolled with good intentions, then drifted away before completing the program. The team wanted to relaunch the VRCE as something genuinely fun and engaging — not just another course to finish.
The relaunch was also a platform change: a fresh LMS and learning community to replace EasyGenerator and Meta Workplace. New home, new experience — and a chance to build motivation in from day one.
the solution
Learn & Earn — a coin economy designed to keep students coming back.
IGNITE chose Incentli to power Learn & Earn: students earn coins for program completions and referrals, and spend them in the IGNITE store. The economy itself was designed with intent — every price point nudges students toward the next program, not just the current one.
THE RESULTS
A community that more than doubled — and keeps coming back.

Completion rates rose dramatically within months of launch. And the pattern that matters most for a paid program: students finish the VRCE and come back — for new programs, community activities, and the next thing on their reward wishlist.
“Incentli has made a massive difference in our learner sentiment and completions, and opened my eyes to the power of positive incentives in terms of learner behavior, versus punishment.”
THE IGNITE STORE
Where coin balances become long-term plans.
The store is more than a reward shelf — it’s the retention mechanic. Students browse it before they’ve earned a thing, pick a target, and map out which programs get them there. That anticipation is what turns a one-course student into a multi-program member.
